Onto my father's in Alexandria, Louisiana(3 hrs 29 mins)

About 3.5 hours norhtwest of New Olreans I visit my father's house. He is excited to see me as I am to see him. He has my airplane sitting in front of his house. ready to fly. Cool! Maybe I'll get some airtime tomorrow. I need to trailer it to a runway first. He thought my motorcycle was really cool. So after I unpacked it he took it for a spin... first spin on a bike since 1977. Then we wnt for a ride together. Me as driver of course looking for runways. Now we're just sitting around watching Micheal Jackson videos. what a talented freak he is.

My sister went to the hospital on the verge of stroke. I hope she is okay.

And the girl Leah from my "wanna have dinner?" post below said "yes." Now if she were only in Alexandria Louisiana. LOL! Better late than never? Huh who said that... late sucks. No really Leah thanks... I'm flattered... maybe we'll cross paths again.

New Orleans (5hrs 58 mins)

I stay at a hostel in Uptown. Went to Bourbon street of course. I partied with all the black folks in celebration of Micheal dying. Funny how white folks won't go in black bars. It's fucking fun in there. Oh well, racism does still exist and I guess it always will. Too bad... it was quite a party. I also visited my favorite freak bar "the round-up" the star wars bar I call it. It is a redneck, transvestite, midget, cowboy bar. There is NO racism in here... and it is always like that. So much fun. Crazy freaks! So then back to the hostel. I slept all day. I was so much fun. Daquiris RULE!

Micheal Jackson died today.(7 hours) to Tallahasee

I shall reflect this evening on how I learned to Moonwalk, wore a silver glove and owned 3 Micheal Jackson jackets. Once, me and 2 friends Sean Feaster, and Shane Derking all had them on at a Godfather's pizza. I walked into the dining room first(I was like 9 years old) and some teenagers snikered "look it's Micheal Jackson" they laughed. Then Sean wlaked in they said "Look it's Micheal Jackson again"... and poor Shane entered next. They shouted, "And IT'S ANOTHER ONE!" The whole table of teenagers busted into laughter... and laughed at us for the remainder of our meal. That was the last day I wore a Micheal Jackson Jacket.

I do also remeber learning to moonwalk with my father the night I saw him do it... and woowing the audience at a talent show the following week.

He will be missed... wacko jacko... but we may see him again with Walt Disney right? He is gonna be frozen as well.

I am in Fort Lauderdale

I left Key West this morning. Four hours later I am in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is hot here too. I am in the wonderful world of Starbucks. Actually it is... although coffee is more expensive than drugs or alcohol. Nice to have free Wifi in most places.

Still looking for work. If Miami doesn't pan out. I am thinking about returning to Seattle so me and TDoug can pursue this music thing. I think there is real potential in what we have to offer.

I am gonna make a goal for reflection sake. I, along with TDoug, will have a top 50 hit before my 40th birthday. I'll reflect back on this when I am 40. This gives me 3.5 years to set the world on fire.

Key West Florida... here I am!

Finally, 36 years later I visit the place I entered the world. This explains a lot. Everybody here is blonde, wrinkled, tan and crazy eyed. No wonder! I thought it was because of New Orleans. Really though I don't think hell itself is this hot.
The Devil would be looking for an air conditioner. I am sure of that. The water is gorgeous. I plan on snorkeling tomorrow. I here it is excellent here. My other complaint besides the heat... it's fucking expensive... really expensive. Even South beach seems cheap. How do people afford to live and work here? I have no idea.

I'm gonna see if I can find work in Miami and maybe something part time here to subsidize my stay. I'll keep you posted.

Miami was Amazing!

I really thought I would hate Miami, but quite the contrary. The people were so freindly that I met. The city is extremely beautiful. The women are gorgeous... albeit plastic. I am re-considering my dislike like of fake boobs. LOL! I am in route to Key West. I am currently in Key Largo. If I don't end up staying in Key West... I think I may stay in Miami. I really didn't see that coming... but WOW! What an incredible city. And water, water everywhere.

Kick my bike over??? But this is the MARINE's bike!

So I am sitting at the bar. Like, how many times have I started an entry with those words? LOL! So any way, some dude with a skateboard, comes in and asks "who has a Kawasaki Enduro?" "Um me... why?" "Um some skater kid just pushed it over. Don't worry I called the cops." I think... "Cops?" I don't like cops(no offense)... especially if I am hanging out at a bar drinking. So, I walk out to the bike. There it lays on it's side. So sad. So I start looking it over. No gas leaking. No anti-freeze. Mind you, it is liquid cooled and could have lot's of fluid escaping... but nothing to my surprise. We pick up the bike(me and the guy who alerted me). All I see is a scratch on the roll cage that is protecting my engine. A scratch on my handle bar weight. Nothing else. No wonder the Marine's use this bike. I LOVE THIS BIKE! My previous HONDA would have been fucked... broken clutch lever etc. FROM EXPERIENCE! This bike still looks like new. And further more... my throttle now stays in place... could be a problem in a later post... but for now... I've been thinking about adding cruise control for my long journey. This is perfect. I actually rode 8 miles with no hands. Rock on lil punks! I feel the angst... I appreciate the pain.

That said... as I am riding... I keep thinking, "what smells like piss?" Then I realize it... "LIL FUCKERS PISSED IN MY HELMET!" Damn it! This is not one to be washed. So tomorrow I spend some of my ever diminishing funds on yet another helmet. Dang. Lil punks got me good. Oh well. Life goes on! Lil punks! God bless them. Although I would have liked to escape with all my money... but it is not to be.

Daytona sucks. Not really! It has actually been very nice. Later foo's.

Savannah Georgia... my first tour stop

I arrived at 8pm after a 4 hour motorcycle ride. It really is a lovely town. Very small but extremely beautiful. Ride was uneventful and the wobble stopped on my bike so I can now cruise at about 70mph. I am really trying to figure out how I can do this for a living. It's so much fun this exploring thing. I love it. That said... damn the interstates are boring as hell.

Georgia girls are sexy...

I forgot the beauty of a high maintenance Southern Belle... they are quite charming and quite pretty.

Geared up and ready to go.

So my bike looks quite loaded. I've got GPS, an iPod and Camcorder with mount. Tank bag(book sack) and loaded 2 panniers up with clothes. I've got DC/AC power outlets. There's full reinforced riding gear. 2 Helmets. A tent. A sleeping bag. A hammock. An inflatable air mat. Toiletries, Tools, Locks, and spares. I knocked the bike over in my mother's garage while packing it up. She came a running. I am happy to say I was able to upright it fully loaded by my lonesome. A good practice excercize for sure.

I have decided to go by way of Savannah Georgia and down the Atlantic Coast. I have never been to Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Key West. I was born in Key West but was too young to remember so this will be cool.

I have also decided to start a website called "BeTheExplore.com" with my travels and writings more palatable for the general public. We'll see how it goes. Currently I'm interested in Tattooing and getting back into website design. That's all from dysfunctional Loveless. Hope you all are well drop me a line.

I am in Atlanta Georgia

I bought a new motorcycle. I stayed with my long term friend John Paul for a few days. Then with my mom. I am planning on heading to Key West Florida for a test run before heading West. I have no schedule so an open time line exists. Just trying to keep an eye on my cash.

I like this song... and it still works!

I left my job, my car and my home... I'm onto a destination unknown!

You were very lovely. Wished I would have got your number... and not had that last rum and coke... ouch! I will be in Atlanta for the next week or so. If you'd like to have some dinner with me... hit me back.

So an update... by request

I have decided to return to the states. Why you may ask? Because I found it extremely difficult to make a living in Costa Rica. With nothing to do I found myself floundering in nothingness. I have some leads on my bike in Costa Rica. I am looking at buy a new bike here in Atlanta and going on one last road trip across the country. I am attempting to park my ass in San Diego if I can find work there. It is time for the adventure to wind down and re-establish myself as a productive American Citizen. With a new Prez at least I have some hope in this country again. Costa Rica was a great healer for the pain I experienced. I still have my days... struggles with addiction... struggles with my self and where I fit into the world. But I am better. Not quite the lost angry man I was 2 years ago. So in a nut shell time to face reality and get myself a job... re-establish my credit... and enjoying the comforts that this civilized society has to offer. The journey isn't quite over, but this chapter is winding down. We'll see where this next chapter begins, but I am open to the change and accepted the chance to settle into a normal life if there is such a thing.

Too old to be a rock star!

Sometimes I think I finally discovered something inside of me!
Sometimes I think this music thing could really set me free!
I have a wisdom now to express the pain inside of me!
But I am too old to let this thing set me free!

I see my face in the mirror
I know the wrinkles in my face make me deeper!
I start doubting my ability to set myself free
I'm just gonna give in and let it take over me!

Set me free!
Free from doubt
Free from time
Free from Me!

I'm gonna be this thing that youth embraces
I feel me growing old!
I feel it in my heart.
I feel me growing bold!

Set me free!
Free from doubt
Free from time
Free from Me!

Sometimes I think I finally discovered something inside of me!
Sometimes I think this music thing could really set me free!
I have a wisdom to express the pain inside of me!
But I am too old to let this thing set me free!

I see my face in the mirror
I know the wrinkles in my face make me deeper!
I start doubting my ability to set myself free
I'm just gonna give in and let it take over me!

Set me free!
Free from doubt
Free from time
Free from Me!

Set me free!
Free from doubt
Free from time
Free from Me!

I am gonna be a rock star today!
Today is all I got!
I am never told old to be free!
I am never told old to be me!

So rock out old man!
So rock out young child!
Sing it like you mean it!
Sing it now and sing it loud!

I am free!
I am me!
I am rocking it loud
I am rocking it free

I AM ME!

Oh B! Oh B! Brace yourself!

You are about to crush some one you love. But you need to rip it off like a band aid. You need to do it! You know you need to... but you know it's gonna start a chain reaction that you aren't ready for. You are about to crush some one who is in love with you. Too bad you aren't in love with them. Good luck! Do the right thing! You know I am here with you.You are about to enter the worst year of your life. I am glad you finally dropped your happy facade and shed a tear. Makes me realize you finally have a grasp of what you need to do! Just do it already. Hang on because it is gonna be the worst ride you will ever be on. Breaking some one's heart that you love is not easy! GODSPEED! Onto to being a rockstar!

The Eagle has landed!

I am in New Orleans. I had the pleasure of singing with a band last night on Bourbon Street. We did some Doors and Stones covers. I am getting better at this singing shit. At least this "rock" singing shit. Although, I could not find a hostel last night so I ended up sleeping on a bench in the park. Oh my, somethings never change.
