John Lennon, GOD lyircs

God is a concept,
By which we can measure,
Our pain,
I'll say it again,
God is a concept,
By which we can measure,
Our pain,
I don't believe in magic,
I don't believe in I-ching,
I don't believe in bible,
I don't believe in tarot,
I don't believe in Hitler,
I don't believe in Jesus,
I don't believe in Kennedy,
I don't believe in Buddha,
I don't believe in mantra,
I don't believe in Gita,
I don't believe in yoga,
I don't believe in kings,
I don't believe in Elvis,
I don't believe in Zimmerman,
I don't believe in Beatles,
I just believe in me,
Yoko and me,
And that's reality.
The dream is over,
What can I say?
The dream is over,
Yesterday,
I was dreamweaver,
But now I'm reborn,
I was the walrus,
But now I'm John,
And so dear friends,
You just have to carry on,
The dream is over.

Rockin J's, Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

The road in from Limon is about 70kms. The last 25kms is complete shit. I roll in on the bike. And ask the first guy I see. "Hey where do they have those cheap tents for rent on the beach?" "Rockin J's", he replies. So I head to the end of town. Wow, lots of Rastas to say the least. My plan was to stay three days. I pull up to the place. My first impression was that this place looks really cool. I ask if I can setup a tent. They say, "we've already got tents setup you can rent which include mattresses and sheets." "5 bucks a night". Sounds good. So I get my tent which is on a platform in 4 rows of about ten tents. I unload my stuff and proceed to stroll the grounds. The amount of mosaic work is mind boggling. Rockin J's recruits campers to do a mosaic if they so wish. The place is covered in cool images. The bartender at the restaurant, Alisha, is a beautiful surfer girl from California. She's on a mission to surf all the famous surf spots in the world. She's been here for one year now. Then there is Sonya. Sonya is a muse. She is the one whirls, twirls and smiles because she knows who she is. The girl you don't ask out. Or prepare to be broken. I meet Old Hippie John a 66 year old dead head. Then there is John Angel, a Canadian Mailman with dreads down to his ankles. It was quite a mix. Mushrooms, Marijuana and LSD or abundant. As are the people who are obviously on these drugs. Who shall all remain nameless. LOL. So my 3 day stay ends on day 12. Ooops. But wow what an incredible place. I meet so many very interesting young and old people who were all explorers in their own ways. Some of the 20 somethings had seen more of the world than most people I've met. The beach is beautiful with torquoise water and nice reef directly behind the place. The selection of food is impeccable.

I think Rockin J's is one of the coolest sopts in Costa Rica. I even added my own mosaic. If your coming to Costa Rica come here. You will not regret it. Oh and buy your drugs at a place called Tex Mex in the center of town. Just ask te bartenders. They tell you who is good is who isn't.
